Cader Idris Outdoor Gear first opened in 1990 and quickly established itself as “the” Outdoor shop in the area.
Andrew Ennever became the new proprietor of the shop in Spring of 2003. With extensive experience in outdoor pursuits and retail, customer service is their priority while ensuring that the shop continued to evolve to meet the demands of enthusiasts in the area. New ownership meant new brands whilst continuing with popular brands from the past.
Dolgellau is placed between three mountain areas, Cader Idris, the Harlech Dome and the Arans. Whilst Cader is the main draw to the area there are many attractions for those that enjoy the outdoors. Why not try mountain biking, canoeing, or rock climbing?
